Be Patient: This is a given but we often forget or overlook it. No matter how good your services are and how well you propagate on social media, it would take time for you to get clients or customers.

This also means that you need to be secure financially, whether it be through savings or a passive income.

List down USPs: If you have something different about your service, flaunt it till the kingdom come. (If you have nothing special, then wrap it in a way that makes it sound special). Use your USP as many times as you can, without literally shoving it down people's throats, unless they are into it.

Social media reach ≠ More business: You might have the funniest memes, the most relevant content and that could bring you engagement and follows and all that jazz, but these do not confirm business or sale. It helps, sure! but they are not guaranteed. You would get the limelight for a moment or two, then someone else would take it (such as the law of social media land) but don't be disappointed if it doesn't convert and don't expect too much.

Add benefits: If you are looking for more exposure and sales, add some benefits to your offer. Something that brings the potential customers/clients to you. But be careful to draw a line between attracting and bending over backwards.

In conclusion, hustle a lot, cry yourself to sleep but don't give up easily. In the beginning, you might feel like you are only giving and not receiving, but think of it as an investment, the returns could be ceiling or floor crashing, depending on you.
